Family and Early Life
Abby is the only daughter and the youngest of three children of American parents Jeff Hornacek and Stacy Hornacek. Her father was a former NBA player and a coach, who served as the head coach of the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). She has two older brothers named Tyler and Ryan Hornacek.
In her early days, she had a crush on Troy Bolton, the main protagonist of the High School Musical trilogy.
Abby attended Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix. She played volleyball for the school team and won the Class 5A Division I state title in her first three years. Later, she enrolled at the University of Southern California, graduating in May 2016 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Abby spent her childhood in Utah till she was 10. After that her family moved to Arizona. She used to be an anchor and sometimes a producer at Trojan Vision Television while she was studying Journalism at Southern California University.
In May 2012, she quit Trojan and joined university’s volleyball team. Later, after a short break, she joined another student operated new program, Annesberg TV News in August 2013.
