SS Rajamouli is one of the most sought-after directors in India, especially after the massive success of the Baahubali franchise. He is also credited with the success of his directorial Student No. 1 Chatrapathi, Magadheera, and Eega among others. Currently, he is gearing up for the release of his film RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, after RRR he will be working with Mahesh Babu in a jungle adventure. According to the latest reports, Rajamouli will also be collaborating with Allu Arjun for a film.

According to the report, Rajamouli and his father KV Vijayendra Prasad have initiated a conversation with Allu Arjun to play the lead in their next massive project which will go on floors after Mahesh Babu’s film. The reports further state that during the lockdown the successful father-son duo had enough time to revisit their ideas and bring them to the writing pad. They have a subject that is best suited for Allu Arjun and they already had two to three successful meetings with the star.

While Rajamouli has presented several Telugu film stars on a pan-India scale, it will be the first time that he will be working with Allu Arjun who is already a massive pan-India star, especially after the success of Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1.

The makers will make the official announcement when the Mahesh Babu film nears its completion. The film is expected to go on floors next year and will take a year-and-a-half to complete the shoot.
