Rimi Sen, reportedly, has been cheated of Rs 4.14 crores by a Goregaon-based businessman who took the money from her on the pretext of investing it in his new business. According to reports, the businessman had promised the actress 30 to 30 percent interest on it but later he did not start any business.

FIR has been lodged against the businessman at Khar Police Station in Mumbai. Confirming the same, ANI tweeted, “Bollywood actress Rimi Sen has filed a police complaint against a Goregaon-based businessman named Raunak Jatin Vyas for allegedly duping her of Rs 4.14 cr in the name of investment. Case registered under IPC sections 420 & 409. Search on to nab the accused: Khar Police.”

As per Rimi Sen’s complaint, a businessman named Raunak Jatin Vyas, who lives in Goregaon allegedly duped her in the name of investment. The actress mentioned that three years ago she met him at a gym in Andheri and they became friends. Vyas who claimed to be a businessman offered her to invest in his new business saying he will give her good returns. Rimi agreed to the investment and trusted him but later she realized that she was cheated as Raunak did not start any new company.

It is being said that the actress had invested Rs 4.14 crores between February 2019 to November 2020. However, when Rimi demanded her money back, Vyas started ignoring her calls and messages. Therefore, the actress filed a complaint against him.  Raunak Jatin Vyas has been booked under IPC sections 420 and 409. The search is reportedly on to nab the accused.
